I’m a self employed sole trader and FreeAgent comes as a perk with my Ulster Bank Business account. Finally started using FreeAgent recently and it’s brilliant! No more manual reconciliation of my bank account to invoices paid, FA does it automatically saving so much time. Customised invoice template available to make them ‘your own’ and so simple with pre-populated email templates to send to clients including automated thank you emails when invoices are paid and reminders when they’re not. Photos of receipts can be uploaded against transactions to keep your expenses tidy instead of laying around the work truck! Easy to see at a glance what’s coming in and going out of the business and keep track of potential tax bills. Great online help available and mobile app is so easy to use day to day. The ‘radar’ functionality keeps you on top of ‘to do’ list. Can add my accountant as a user so come end of the financial year it’s going to be much simpler than compiling spreadsheets etc to manually send! My clients have paid much more promptly since I started using this system (probably because sending invoices became so much less of a chore) so I’m now more cashflow positive than before. Nothing negative to say at this point! For a small business such as myself this software system gets five stars!
