I moved house shortly before the UK lockdown came into effect, and part of the plan was to have a temporary office for the occasional working at home. However, lockdown/covid-19 has made the office become more permanent, and a temporary desk/workspace solution wasn't going to work.

Rather than buy from IKEA, I decided to treat myself to a custom made desk and monitor riser. The quality of the workmanship shown on the Sit/stand website really stood out, but I was win over by the customer service.

I contacted Joe, asked a few questions about sizing, thickness, drill holes (I didn't want any) and he was excellent. Swift replies, and understanding of my many questions. Once we agreed a price for everything, I placed my order.

One week before delivery I decided I wanted a matching piece of desk , of smaller size , to make a kind of shelf/low table in my office. Adding this to my existing delivery date was no problem. Really top quality service.

Today my desk arrived, and it is far beyond anything I could have hoped for. The wood is gorgeous, and a wonderful finish. Solid, well made, and something I'll treasure for years. I was using steel A-frame legs I purchased separately, and they fit a treat.

I cannot recommend these guys enough, I was blown away by my product, and you will be too.
