Consider someone else for your broadband

If you are considering using Kinex for broadband I would recommend you look elsewhere. For what you are paying (which is way over the odds) and getting tied into, nowhere near what should be expected, it is painful.

The internet drops regularly, and you end up resetting your router a good 4 to 5 times a day. The speeds are nowhere near the “guaranteed minimum speeds”. As an online training centre as you can expect this business is now costing me money.

Although you may get 70mb per sec into your router (so I am told I’m getting when contacting them) you are lucky if you get 25 to 30 out of it. The Technicolour Router supplied is worthless and isn’t up to the job. I ended up buying my own router just to get a better WiFi for the office (1gig router) but still with a top rated router still only 20 to 30mb out of it. Also had to pay to get it installed as kinex tech couldn’t help me as they are not trained!!!! Awful, awful business to deal with.

Can’t wait for this contract to end!!

Good Morning,

We are sorry you have not been satisfied with the service you have received. We do provide a router which we find is adequate for most however some businesses do have advanced requirements and do opt to using their own 3rd party equipment. Whilst we will try and offer support as much as we can with 3rd party equipment we are not always able to assist as this equipment is not something being provided by ourselves.

In regards to the speed you have mentioned many things can impact the speed being received to your devices for example the number of devices that are connected. WIFI as per the terms and conditions is not something we can guarantee however we will try and assist to improve the service where ever possible.

If you wish to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact us on 0161 465 6655.

Kind regards,

Lauren
