CRIMINALS. Stay away /RUN
Easyjet cancelled a flight I booked for my uncle, which was done via trip.com. (on a skyscanner app)
While he was at the airport, I spoke to Easyjet to find a solution to the problem,
EasyJet advised me to book an alternative flight under £500, and send them the receipt and they will refund me.
While I was looking for an alternative flight, I received an email from Easyjet about my changed flight for the following day.
Which will be about 24 hours from the original departure time.
As my uncle needed to be in London for a ceremony in the morning, we took the option Easyjet gave us and got him a replacement flight for £169.30 with Lufthansa.
Thereafter, I contacted Easyjet to ask for my money back for the alternative flight with Lufthansa as I was told to.
I was then told by easyjet that because I had changed my flight, I won't be eligible for compensation for booking a flight with Lufthansa. I then said to them that I didn't and they asked me for the booker's name, I gave them my name, and they said to me that I am not the booker and that the booker has changed my flight and had also claimed a £15.49 tax government refund in my name for every flight cancelled in the
UK. That cancelled flight payment will be paid into their account today.
Then Easyjet asked me for the last 4 digits of my card number, which I provided, and they said that it was a different card.
Then I realized that Trip.com has claimed the money that should have come to me the affected passenger and also deprived me of getting the money I was promised by Easyjet.
While following instructions from the airline.
I wrote them trying to explain myself, and they told me that I am not eligible for a refund.
They changed my flight without my permission, Deprived me of payment from Easyjet,
Refused to pay for the alternative flight and claimed the government money that should come to me and finally told me that I am not eligible for a refund.
This seems to be a Chinese company, where regard for human rights and customer satisfaction is zero.
I FELL VICTIM TO CRIMINALS, PLEASE RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN.
