I recently sold my business and I notified clear business them know and to confirm that the business was still going to trade under new ownership and I would be giving the new owner Clear business’s info as I had found them a fantastic company . I was told by the lady I spoke to that in order to avoid a termination fee (?). I needed to ask my accountant to email them notification that I was ceasing to trade. This was done in November of last year. I am now being text every other day to tell me I owe them money . I actually spoke to a very nice guy yesterday and went through my story he said that I have an unpaid invoice of £700+ !!!!! He was going to pass my case Onto somebody that could get to the bottom of it and get back to me. Then today I received another text demanding payment !!! Not good practice as I know for certain that the lady who took over my shop not only has their broadband / telephone but business insurance , water , gas and electric but they are still trying to get a termination fee out if me. But they can keep in trying .
