I collected stool samples to submit for multiple companies, including one sample submitted twice to Viome.

I am giving Viome a relatively low score for the following reasons:

1) When samples for the same stool sample were mailed in, they showed relatively less concordance for the Viome scores.

2) Raw data is not provided.

3) There were some predictions that went against what I already found to be helpful.

4) I had some communication concerns, but I think that is less important than the 3 points above.

To be fair, there was some consistency for the most abundant microbes between companies, at least at the "Detected" or "Not Detected" Level. There was also recovery of a probiotic that I believe is consistent with me eating Activia for lunch.

Also, out of the options that I tested, I believe Viome does do the best job of providing a stool collector for collecting samples.

So, that is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that I can provide links or provide my name (making it difficult to a suggestion of a Google search to find the specific details). However, I would certainly be happy to provide the public links to Trustpilot, if asked to verify my experiences. I was asked to enter order numbers, so I mentioned that I have multiple samples and orders (where I think the information needed in the PDF, but I am happy to provide more as possible). There was a minor error in that unpublished information, but the count is 6 samples from 5 orders.

**Update (7/15/2022)**: I appreciate the prompt feedback from Viome, but I think something might not have been clear:

I considered the most clear discordance to be from samples that were all sent to Viome (in addition to other companies), 2 of which came from the same stool sample (and both sent to Viome at the same time, using different e-mail accounts).

Some comparisons are not ideal, but the scores are quantitative and there can be scores defined between multiple microbes for the different companies.
