As an electrician

As an electrician, I'm always looking to increase my knowledge base. As I wanted to start installing EV chargers, I took the EV Equipment (EVE) Installers Course. I found that it was very informative with a lot of technical content along with clear explanations that really helped me understand the topic. Additionally, I also took an EV chargers course recently with one of the larger electrical organizations. Of the 2 courses I took, EVE was by far the best course but it is, as yet, not as widely accepted which is why I took a second course (which proved easy by comparison to EVE). If you want to understand EV installations more thoroughly, I would highly recommend this course.

Dear Andy. Many thanks for your possitive review. For those reading it, EVE is a very detailed course which is designed to give candidates two outcomes - the first is to go the OLEV route without formal exam, here EVE graduates can go straight to companies to be registered as approved installers for their EV charging equipment. (a list of manufacturers can be found on the EVE webpage)

The second outcome is to proceed or upgrade to a formal EV qualification such as those provided by City and Guilds, EAL and Logic Certification. For more details, including where our approved EV exam partner centres are, please check out www.learninglounge.com/eve
