I discovered Alex by chance after I broke the main sping in my omega speedmaster, his site was professional looking so I decided to contact him. I contacted him via the site and he responded within hours. His communication was excellent and soon enough I was booked in to drop off the watch.
When I dropped the watch off Alex spent time talking me through his processes and booking the watch in he fully explained the timescales approx 8 weeks for the repair service and valet of the watch. Do not let an 8 week turn around put you off, this would be much longer if sent back to the manufacturer for service!
Whilst with Alex I mentioned I was looking for a new time peice and he explained that he could source brand new quality watches. After a couple of days thinking and deciding what I would like I asked Alex if he could get a particular model and a price, i had an email back with me again within hours stating he could and the price. Needless to say I was very happy and placed my order. I was given a timescale and waited patiently.
So finally yesterday just short of the original 8 weeks service time Alex contacted me and to my delight both watches were ready for collection.
My 14 year old speedmaster now looks like it's come out of a high street shop window, this is a watch that's been worn daily in all that time in a hostile environment. Back to virtually brand new condition. Unbelievable!
Then Alex showed me my new addition a new unused unworn omega seamaster PO. honestly I don't know how he's got this peice for the price. Alex altered the bracelet for me so I could wear it out of his workshop. Whilst doing this he handed over his own personal watch for me to look at (very nice indeed). He happily chatted for just short of an hour whilst am sure he had other work to do!
In short Alex is a top professional his work is unreal (check his instagram) and also a gent which is rare in this day and age. No ego no snottyness which you can find in high street stores, just a genuine guy and craftsman.
