Took money and hotel had no reservation made!!!

I reserved two rooms for seven days through booking TWO MONTHS in advance and received confirmation and close to 2,000 withdrawn from account. Once I arrived at hotel they claimed they had no reservation and that booking never placed a reservation. After sitting in the lobby with a 4 year old for 3 hours and hung up 4times from booking including an hour and 15 minute hold. I finally had to pay for a one night stay and still nothing from booking!!!
