Sold out to Corporations

As a pub landlord Tastecard was great. The users actually paid for the card. They used the card to enhance their eating experience, they phoned and booked in advance.

However Tastecard has sold out to the corporations such as Barclays and Compare the Market. The 'users' are now out to get the cheapest deals possible, do not phone in advance and seem to want (and looking into these corporate deals is how it's advertised) to be able to use the card for 6 people!!!!!!

What a joke. The multi million pound businesses are trying to look good and generous to their customers while bankrupting small independent businesses who take on all the costs.

If you care for the economy not being 100% dominated by the big boys and care about the diversity of small independent businesses stay clear of taste card.

Was mislead by Tastecard and regret ever signing up with them.

If you are a small business, stay well clear. You are better off with the empty table rather than running ragged meeting the customers demands to merely break even.
