If the weight is not evenly distributed, it may be that your blanket is "pooling". Pooling happens when your duvet cover is not securely fastened to the inner weighted blanket to securely and evenly spread the weight and hold it in place. If your blanket is pooling during use, we recommend checking that the blanket is securely fastened to the duvet. To do this, unzip the duvet and use the ties around the perimeter of the blanket to attach it to the duvet.

As for the blanket's dimensions, which is 72" x 48" inches, it is created to focus on the key pressure points of the body such as the arms, chest, abdomen, thighs, and calves. It is not meant to cover the area of the feet for long periods of time - the weight may be too heavy for the area.
